Every day I am thankful for our big bonus room that the kids have quickly called “their room”. There is nothing better than being able to contain all the kids’ toys to one room and be able to make messes that I can close behind doors hehe. I’ve shared a few updates on it over the past few years, but it’s typically a mess and I haven’t gotten a full vision of what I want to do with it. So alas, when it comes to decorating it has been on the back burner. Until…. I found the most perfect farmhouse kid’s table and chair set that was PERFECT for it.
For this project I worked with the Better Homes and Garden Line at Walmart (which is amazing BTW). And I’m not just saying that, when I was back at Headquarters last month I was blown away by all the adorable new pieces! When I was back there I saw this adorable metal kid’s table and chair set and I fell in love. I mean, it’s a mini version of our kitchen chairs so it was fate.
You guys, I can’t control myself. Are these Farmhouse Metal Chairs not the cutest things ever?
I wanted a space in this room for the kids to be able to sit and play games, eat snacks, do crafts, etc. This Metal Table was the perfect solution. For sizing, my kids are 5, (almost)3 and (almost) 1 and the chairs are a great fit. But I will say my 5 year old is tall for her age and they almost feel a little small for her. So I would recommend them for younger toddlers. But I LOVE them.
This is such a fun corner of the playroom, it’s definitely giving me inspiration to finish the rest of the room.
We’ve already used this table for so many fun activities and I can’t wait to do more.
I’m super happy with how this little corner turned out and I can’t wait to keep building on it.
I know all of you with little kids are dying to get this table and chair set, so I’ll make it easy for you!

HI! I am a little late to the “party”! This chalkboard cabinet looks much darker online at Hobby Lobby than you photos. Would you say it is a fairly true color in your photos? Also, do you like it? Has it held up well? Sorry for all the questions…and thank you for any info!
