Before I dive in to today’s post, I’m also guest posting today over at the lovely Samantha Walker Blog! I’m sharing a BRAND NEW project over there, something that will make you want to cozy up for fall!
So, I was organizing my photos the other day and came across pics of my Doily Garland and realized I completely forgot to show it to you! How could I?
This simple yet elegant Doily Garland can be made for just $2 and in less than 30 minutes.
I picked up a pack of doilies and a spool of pink ribbon at the dollar store, costing me a total of $2 (plus tax). Just so you know, you can never go wrong with the dollar store!
I cut the doilies in half and then used Mod Podge to attached them to the underside of the ribbon.
The project itself takes only 10 minutes, but you’ll need to allow about 30 minutes of drying time.
This Doily Garland is great for a baby shower, birthday party, tea party or even Valentine’s Day. Here is how the garland looked at Baby E’s 1st Birthday Party.
So what are you waiting for? Head to the dollar store!
So pretty and simple, but great impact!
Gorgeous doily garland! Who would have ever known this came from the dollar store! ;)
