DIY Pendant Lights

Throughout the journey of updating our home, I’ve come to realize how important lighting is. Hence the reason for DIY Pendant Lights. I think lighting can often be forgotten when updating a space. I’ve seen it over and over again, someone updates a plain jane room into a beautiful space but leaves the basic builder grade light fixtures. By just taking it one step further the room could be completely transformed and it doesn’t always have to cost a lot of money. At least in my opinion.

DIY Pendant Lights – New Look Without Breaking The Bank

Today, I’m going to show you some DIY Pendant Lights that won’t break the bank and will give your space an entirely new look.

DIY Pendant Lights - Lighting Fixtures

Have you tackled your own DIY lighting before? What are some of your experiences with changing out builder’s grade lighting for something with more character?

Oh my goodness, so many beautiful pendants! Lighting does really make difference, doesn’t it? I DIY’d a pendant light for over our dining table and it has been the perfect addition to that space. (http://www.mayricherfullerbe.com/2013/05/wood-shim-pendant-light-installation.html)

This is great. The Wooden Openwork Cube Pendant, and the globe pendant lights would look great in a kids bedroom, upon other places.

This has been a major project over the course of the last 7 months, and it has been so exciting to see it all come together. My goal was to create an elegant and timeless look to our staircases, adding character with unique features of the railings, classic neutral runners with gold stair rods to complete the look and a moment for the large luxe chandelier that you can see from the courtyard. And of course a fresh look with smooth creamy walls.

But I’m not entirely done just yet! Part 2 will be coming in 2026!
