It’s almost Halloween! It’s one of my kid’s favorite holidays, but who can blame them? They get to dress up and go door-to-door stocking up on goodies for the year! We thought it would be fun to hand out something different this year. This October OREO is launching NEW Glow-in-the-Dark 2-packs, a fun snack to celebrate Halloween and the perfect item to hand out for trick-or-treaters this year.
DIY Ghost Box
I’m all about recycling and decided to transform the OREO box into a fun container to hand out the treats in. Using a little bit of paint and paper, I now have a glow-in-the-dark ghost to go with the glow-in-the-dark snacks inside! The OREO Glow-in-the Dark 2-packs are the perfect serving size for a spooky treat this Halloween season. They are sold in packages of 30 and can be found at local grocery stores nationwide. Here is a quick tutorial on how I gave the box a makeover.
DIY Halloween Candy Box
First, I cut off the top flaps. Gave it two coats of white spray paint. About 5 coats of glow-in-the-dark paint. Then, pasted a ghost face on the box. I filled up the box with glow-in-the-dark OREO snacks (takes more than one box to make it overflowing), and now there is a fun ghost box for trick-or-treaters.
Trick or Treat Box
I definitely recommend trying these fun snacks out for Halloween this year. My kids loved them and they look so cool in the dark! I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
