Diaper Bag Must Haves

Thanks For Sharing!

Baby #3 is only a few weeks old, but it doesn’t take long to get in the swing of things again when it comes to having a newborn. The third time around I feel like I know exactly what I want and need in my diaper bag (it’s about time!). For those of you just starting out or those who need a few new ideas for yourself or for gifts, I’m sharing my Diaper Bag Must Haves.
Diaper Bag Must Haves

Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag – I absolutely love my Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper bag. While they are a little on the pricey side, they are worth every penny. This is by far the most comfortable bag to carry around, I wear it as a back pack and it doesn’t bother my back one bit, no matter how much I pack in there! (Although, I do wish I would have gotten one with a wipe off fabric)

Fold Out Bag For Dirty Clothes – Continuing my love for Petunia Pickle Bottom, I love this fold out bag. It fits snugly at the bottom of my bag and takes up little room and it’s the perfect place to throw dirty clothes while we are out and about. It folds up so small and I can also throw it in the wash when I’m done using it!

Disposable Diaper Bags – Let’s face it, sometimes you have a change a diaper in inconvenient places and don’t have a garbage bag near by. These are so great.

Clear Pacifiers – You always need a spare pacifier just for the diaper bag. For those emergency situations. I’m all about the clear pacifiers and these are what my kids like!

Little Giraffe Burp Cloths – I love love Little Giraffe, their blankets are AMAZING and so are their burp cloths. These ones are incredible soft.

Hand Sanitizer – Whether you just changed a diaper or cleaned spit up or want to get rid of those grocery store germs, hand sanitizer is a must! I love these little bottles that attach to my diaper bag and are easy to find!

Nursing Cover – I like to cover up while feeding, so a travel cover is always in my bag. I keep one at home and one in my diaper bag.

Pacifier Wipes – I can’t tell you how much I love these! I feel like I’m always grabbing a pacifier off the ground and there are times when there isn’t a place to wash it off. These wipes are so convenient!

Extra Clothing – A LOT of accidents happen with babies. I always have 1-2 extra outfits in my diaper bag. It’s a must.

Diaper Cream – My middle kiddo has really sensitive skin and a friend recommended Triple Paste. It’s been a life saver. Way better than any other diaper cream I’ve used. Everyone will have different opinions on this, regardless of what you use, make sure to have it on hand

Muslin Blankets – Muslin blankets are all the rage and I’m totally on the bandwagon. These super soft  Aiden and Anais blankets are my favorite and fit easily into a diaper bag. They are perfect when your little one needs another layer.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Lara Bars  – Don’t forget to bring snacks for you (and the kiddos). I always have Lara Bars packed in my bag. They are perfect for being gluten-free on the go.

What are some of your must-have items in your diaper bag? I am always looking for things to make my life easier!
