cookie-cake-683x1024For the launch of her book, Stacy put together the most beautiful launch party. It was completely fitting to the theme of her book and so gorgeous. I love her use of tree rounds and crates. You can view more beautiful pictures from here launch party here. I love it so much and want to have my own rustic theme party!

I love using plants, but I do know there is a fine line between enough and too many.

We collect things from our family adventures, i.e. sand dollars, rocks, etc and I try to do a craft so we can display the items we collect so we can enjoy them and remember our time.

I love bringing nature indoors!. I recently got a new lantern for our foyer table and added a few pillar candles to it. But something was missing. I went outside grabbed a couple of leaves from a fern and put them inthe lantern – instant color and texture!

I love plants and have them everywhere. I like to add stones to the pots to bring a little of the outdoor indoor.

I hike with my dogs and I am always picking up pieces of nature. They get scattered throughout the house. Some of the things I have found and use are feathers, antlers, rocks, shells. I even have a piece of bark in the shape of a heart. that I found in place that I love.

I do it with using wooden decorations, having a bonsai and having lots of fruit and veggies on home because im vegan. I love being outside. I walk 2 times a day and 3 times in a week i run for almost an hour. I take the bicycle or my legs if I need to go somewhere and that’s a bit it. I move to my student dorm this sunday and I’m still decorating the room.

I bring nature in in lots of ways, including pine cones of all sizes, sea shells, and more. I like to change my decorative items with the seasons and the natural elements work very well with that.

I made myself the promise this summer that I would bring in fresh flowers weekly and I’ve kept my word. I also have diy candles and wood objects in a variety of places in the home.
