Do you know Stacy Risenmay from Not Just A Housewife? She is one of the sweetest and funniest people I know and guess what? She just came out with a brand new book Natural Accents where she shows you hundreds of ideas for decorating with nature in your home. This books speaks my decorating language and I absolutely love it!
I can’t get over how many unique and creative projects Stacy shows you in her book. There are hundreds of projects that have never been seen before on her blog, like here Hexagon Planters above and clay planter below. Click here to see more of the decorative planters from her book.
One of my favorite color combos is black and white with a touch of natural green and adding texture. This hanging clay pot is just brilliant and Stacy shows you how to make it in her book.
For the launch of her book, Stacy put together the most beautiful launch party. It was completely fitting to the theme of her book and so gorgeous. I love her use of tree rounds and crates. You can view more beautiful pictures from here launch party here. I love it so much and want to have my own rustic theme party!
Stacy’s book has been so inspiring and I’ve loved looking through all of her ideas. Now YOU can have a copy of your own! Use the rafflecopter form below to enter to win your own Natural Accents book.

We collect things from our family adventures, i.e. sand dollars, rocks, etc and I try to do a craft so we can display the items we collect so we can enjoy them and remember our time.

I love bringing nature indoors!. I recently got a new lantern for our foyer table and added a few pillar candles to it. But something was missing. I went outside grabbed a couple of leaves from a fern and put them inthe lantern – instant color and texture!

I hike with my dogs and I am always picking up pieces of nature. They get scattered throughout the house. Some of the things I have found and use are feathers, antlers, rocks, shells. I even have a piece of bark in the shape of a heart. that I found in place that I love.

I do it with using wooden decorations, having a bonsai and having lots of fruit and veggies on home because im vegan. I love being outside. I walk 2 times a day and 3 times in a week i run for almost an hour. I take the bicycle or my legs if I need to go somewhere and that’s a bit it. I move to my student dorm this sunday and I’m still decorating the room.

I bring nature in in lots of ways, including pine cones of all sizes, sea shells, and more. I like to change my decorative items with the seasons and the natural elements work very well with that.
