Concrete Pumpkin Napkin Rings

Thanks For Sharing!

Happy Monday! Let’s kick off the week with a post full of beautiful and unique table setting ideas for the upcoming holiday season. I’ve partnered with 24 bloggers to bring you fresh new ideas for Thanksgiving and Winter. So please, BE OUR GUEST!

Today I’m sharing a tutorial for my Concrete and Copper Pumpkin Napkin Rings. These are so easy and inexpensive to make and are a fun twist on tradition Thanksgiving decor.

Industrial Modern Concrete and Copper Pumpkin Napkin Rings

Concrete Pumpkin Napkin Rings - Easy Tutorial

SUPPLIES

– Feather Finish Concrete or Quikrete

– Rubber Pumpkin Mold (I found mine at Wal-Mart for $.97)

– Copper Wire

– Hot Glue Gun

Concrete Pumpkin Tutorial

Quikrete would definitely be less expensive for this but I already had some left over Feather Finish Concrete from our Concrete Countertops  so I used that instead.

I mixed the concrete using a 2:1 ratio, I only needed about 1/2 cup to fill the mold. Once I filled the pumpkins, I used a putty knife to scrape off the extra cement and create a clean flat back to each pumpkin. You’ll want to let them dry for 24-36 hours or until you see them lighten in color. Then just carefully peel them out of the mold. They should pop righto out.

I wrapped thin copper into circles and separated each loop. Then secured them with some hot glue.
