20 Things You Might Not Know

Happy Friday Friends! Umm where did this week go?  We have had such a beautiful summer here in the Pacific Northwest and we are living it up! We only have so many months/days of sun around here so we have been outside as much as possible enjoying the warm, sunny weather.

A few months ago, I wrote a 25 Things You Might Not Know About Me post and it was fun reading your comments and seeing how many similarities we all have. Who knew there were so many other people out there that love to be barefoot! :)

So today I’ve decided to share another 20 random things about me you may not know, or even want to know….

1. I have never been to New York, in fact Boston is the only city I’ve been to on the East Coast. I’m missing out!

2. I have one cup of coffee every morning (I’m loving my NEW Keurig my hubby bought me for our anniversary).

3. I don’t like swimming in the ocean, I think it has something to do with my fear of sharks.

4. In my mind, it’s never too early to eat candy (even at 7am), especially sour gummy candy.

5. I was a cheerleader in high school.

6. My dream home would have espresso wood floors, white furniture and gray walls.

7. When I was in 7th grade, I got braces and glasses in the same week.

8. If a restaurant has Braised Short Ribs on the menu you can guarantee that’s what I’ll order (but nothing beats my mom’s recipe).

9. Fall is my favorite season.

10. This month my hubby and I celebrated 4 years of marital bliss.

11. When I was little, I had 72 Dwarf Hamsters at one time (those things don’t stop having babies).

12. I was born with a broken collar bone.

13. Shawshank Redemption is my all time favorite movie.

14. I enjoy working out, as long as it doesn’t involve running.

15. I’ve always wanted to take a glass blowing class.

16. I am naturally a night owl, but the older I get the more I enjoy waking up early and enjoying a cup of coffee before Miss E wakes up.

17. Raspberries are my favorite fruit.

18. The next tool I want to purchase is a nail gun. It would make life a lot easier.

19. I LOVE cake, but I love the frosting more.

20. I’m a Christian.

Anything you can relate to? I want to get to know you too!

Have a great weekend everyone!

I kept saying, “oh, me too” while reading your list. 1 – I’ve never been to NY either. 2 – One cup of coffee in the morning (occasionally one in the afternoon/evening if it is a treat from Starbucks). 3 – I don’t care for swimming in the ocean, too cold and I hate getting salt water in my ears. 4 – I will sneak candy in the morning…anytime is a good time for a gummy. 5 – guilty! skipping a few…9 – Fall and Spring are my favorites. 10 – My hubby and I are celebrating 3 years this month. 14 – No running for me unless it is for playing chase with my little one. 15 – I love glass blown things…I’d take a class if I had an opportunity but would love to find someone who could make some cool things for me. 16 – guilty of the same. 17 – I love raspberries but I love so many fruits living in central California where it is abundant and fresh from the tree. 18 & 20 – Same, guilty of both. Now you can see how many times I said, oh, me too. :)

YOu are a girl after my own heart!
    1. I am currently working on one of these lists for my blogity blog.
    2. My dream home will have espresso floors and gray walls, and white furniture (or at least the kitchen) and we are currently saving to do an addition to make it just that way.
    3. My husbands all time favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption
    4. You could come to the East Coast to visit NY and while here, you could go to my hometown (Corning, NY) and take a glass blowing class and Corning Glass.
    5. I am also afraid of the ocean.

When I finish my list, I will link it back to you put you in it. If that is OK with you?
    Thanks!
    Trina

I love this post! Almost of all those are similar to me… except the East Coast one (my husband is from Virginia so we visit sometimes), and I’ve never owned a hamster in my life :)) Crazy that you were born with a broken collarbone… how did they fix it? I had weird legs when I was a baby so I had casts on both of them for 8 weeks. And ohhh how I LOVE a quiet morning cup of coffee! Have a great weekend, Taryn! Good thing you came to SD last week… it’s CRAZY hot here this week!
    xo,
    Laurie :)

I always enjoy learning new fun facts about the bloggers that I read!!! I have the same fear of swimming in the ocean…I think it has something to do with seeing Jaws when I was younger. I heart my Keurig every single morning too:-) Running used to be my least favorite working out but I have started to enjoy it more after a year of doing it. I don’t know that I will ever love it though. And I am a Christian too:-)

It’s always so fun getting to know a little bit more about other bloggers, especially local bloggers. The Keurig is my best friend in the morning :) And I also envision espresso hardwood floors in my future!

I live in New York and we actually LOVE San Diego. We have been there 4 times since we have been married. :)
I think I need to do a post like this. It’s fun. :)
