Black Tea Cupcakes with Honey Buttercream

Unique Cupcakes that are full of flavor combing Black Tea and Honey.
  • Your favorite white cake mix
  • Eggs
  • Water
  • Butter*
  • 4 Black Tea Bags
  • Or the ingredients your cake mix calls for
  • Frosting:
  • 2 Sticks of Butter softened
  • 2½ cups of Powder Sugar
  • ⅓ cup honey
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Follow the directions on the back of your white cake mix
  3. Take the liquid that your recipe calls for, either water or milk
  4. Bring it to a boil and then soak the 4 Black Tea Bags in it for 5 minutes
  5. Combine everything and mix until smooth
  6. Fill your cupcake liners about ¾ full
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes
  8. While the cupcakes are cooling, combine all the frosting ingredients and mix until creamy.
  9. Using a piping bake and your favorite tip, frost the cupcakes and drizzle honey on top.
